Architecture & Environment
From the start of the journey, this module touches on multiple aspects of what makes a building design, great. In terms of its connections to its surrounding, especially nature, this module explains how we are truly connected with our design and our surroundings. A great way to start before designing a building, knowing, appreciating, and using those advantages to add value to our design with regards to longevity. Towards the end, applications of renewable and sustainability are at its peak of discussion to increase awareness that we are here not just to create great spaces but to inherit knowledge on how to go hand in hand with nature.
Project
Lighting
Going deep into utilizations of daylight and what illuminates a space according to a specific purpose. Key information lies on extensive research on gathering data with specific timing, positioning, weather condition and natural science of light.
Shading
Solar studies, behaviour, manipulations and how it is effecting the space reactions to natural occurrences. Vital parts to complete this board gained from data collection on different aspect, structures characteristics, weather and geological features.
